Gstaad Publications welcomes book proposals and manuscript submissions from scholars, journalists, foreign affairs professionals, and graduate students in international relations or other subjects related to the work of international and inter-governmental organizations.
If you would like to submit a book proposal or a manuscript to us, please send it by e-mail to the following address: info@gstaadproject.com (please, follow the guidelines specified below). At this stage, we do not accept submissions from agents. Because of the volume of submissions received, we regret that we cannot confirm receipt of your submission.
SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
To submit your proposal, send us three separate files in one single e-mail: (1) complete manuscript or three sample chapters; (2) a book proposal (including the following: tentative title, short description of the book, table of contents, examples or descriptions of any artwork, including the total number of illustrations to be used in the text, estimate audience); (3) a resume or biographical note of the author.
Gstaad Publications accepts text files in Microsoft Word (preferred), WordPerfect, or RTF (Rich Text Format). If you use a word processor other than Word or WordPerfect, save your files as Microsoft Word format or RTF format before submission (with most word processors, you can do this through the Save As command).
Use no formatting that is not essential to your manuscript. Although word processors make it easy for anyone to produce an elaborate manuscript, the plainer the file, the easier it will be to edit and design your book. Use common typefonts like Times New Roman or Helvetica. Double-space the entire manuscript, including contents, extracts, notes, bibliography, and tables.
